1.More than forty years of clinical experience.
Director Gui T. Wang, Lac is a licensed acupuncturist who has been practicing in Manhattan, NY for more than 27 years. In 1966, he received his medical training in Shanghai, China, through a dual-path program where medical students were taught in both the Chinese traditional medicine and Western allopathic medicine. After completing his training, he practiced for 16 years in central clinics in Shanghai using acupuncture, herbal and allopathic medicine. After arriving in the United States, his academic accomplishments and extensive clinical experience allowed him to receive the New York State Acupuncture license in 1984. Since then, he has treated more than fifty thousand New Yorkers, and many of his patients have continued their care with him to this day.
His extensive clinical experience and theoretic understanding of acupuncture and herbal medicine makes him an excellent clinician.

3. Free Access to the Health Maintenance Program.
The Health Maintenance Program is an annual free service provided to patients in our center. This program offers a check up in assessing your diet, stress level, exercise, life style and overall health states. You will have a one-to-one opportunity in working with Director Wang to launch and maintain a healthy life style. Please call us for the specific nature of the program.

4. Post-Treatment Phone Call
Director Wang will contact each new patient after the first treatment within 24 to 72 hours. This service is created to provide comfort and reduce anxiety. Many new patients are pleasantly surprised by our concern for our patients’ well being.

5. Disposable Needles.
We only use high quality, disposable needles.

6. All herbs are GMP certified. They are safe and effective.
All our herbs are world-renowned GMP certified, high-quality, saft and effective.

7. Accept Insurance
We accept the following health insurances: Empire BlueCross BlueShield, CIGNA, AETNA, GHI. Many insurers allow “out-of-network” coverage for acupuncture service. We will work with you to submit the required documentation for your reimbursement.
