Director Wang is a licensed acupuncturist who has been practicing in New York City for more than 30 years. After completing his medical training in Shanghai, China, he worked for 16 years in central clinics in Shanghai using acupuncture, herbs and allopathic medicine. In 1984, he moved to the United States, where he obtained his New York State Acupuncture license. Since then, Dr. Wang has treated more than 10,000 New Yorkers. Many of his patients have followed him for over 30 years.
The mission of the center is to treat every patient as if he or she is a family member. Director Wang and his staff treat all patients with sincerity and warmth. We pride ourselves in giving our patients the most compassionate and comprehensive care possible because we believe it is a great privilege to be entrusted with their care.
The Health Maintenance Program is a free annual service provided to patients in our center. This program offers a check up to assess your diet, stress level, exercise, life style and overall health. Dr. Wang will contact each new patient within 72 hours after their first treatment. We offer this service to provide comfort and reduce anxiety. Many new patients are pleasantly surprised by this feature of our service.
